The orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist both said 8 weeks should be when they can return to all normal activity for Callie and they said that is with most dogs who get the surgery. I would get a second opinion by a orthopedic surgeon. The vet should have known the leg structure when he was performing the surgery and if it wasnt like that before sugery then something went wrong and needs to be looked at and taken care of. If she is in pain it needs to become a top priority.
