Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven't really been on here too much. Just about everyone in my house fell sick with this nasty bug that is going around and I just wasn't feeling really great. But I have been trying to keep up with everyone and posting on your adorable new creations.
Anyways, today I was finally feeling like myself again and decided to get my creative juices flowing I would go to the fabric store. I wanted to see if there were any goodies I would like to get that would help out on some dresses I have planned.
Weeeellll, while I was there I meet this wonderful woman who started talking to me about my kids and we hit it off. I told her how I had just made my very first dress the other week, but how I would like to improve on my sewing techniques and what not. She saw the beautiful pink gingham fabric I had in my arm, wrote down her number, gave it to me, and told me to buy the fabric and to give her a call when I'm ready to make a dress with it. She also told me not to buy anything else cause she has a ton of stuff back at her house and would let me pick out whatever I would like to use, but she especially had some lace that would look great with my fabric.
I can't believe it! I'm soo excited. I'm finally going to have someone help me out who knows what she is doing hehe. She has been sewing for 40+ years and she loved the enthusiasm she saw in me and wanted to help out.
I am just so excited and when I told my hubby he was just all "Ok, cool"
So I thought I could share my exciting news with you all. People who can appreciate my excitement.
I told her I won't be calling her until after we return from our family vacation, but I will be making some dresses on my own in the meantime. I am just so excited to be getting some experienced help. It actually motivated me to give my second dress a go. Hopefully I will finish later tonight and I can share my new masterpiece with you all.
