We had no fence when we got Maggie, but we knew we wanted to have her potty outside. Looking back maybe we should have pad trained her so we could leave her alone longer, but we feel bad when we're gone long, so it probably wouldn't matter.
Anyway, I went to Lowes or Home Depot in the fence or garden dept and got the plastic construction fence and a few poles. We made her a little potty spot so she couldn't run off. Eventually we got a small-3 foot high black iron fence that you install yourself. The temporary fence was good until we could decide what to do.
You might try putting one up after a good cleansing rain and see how it works. This way you can start the grass training without waiting so long. |
