I'm so sorry, I know this is so painful of you. I have a problem with those who can't let go, and don't seem to care how much pain the dog is suffering. I think you are wise to do it now when you can be pretty sure he'll not get better. I was watching a TV Reality show when Mackenzie Phillips took her dog in to be put to sleep. They offered him an ice cream cone right before the shot, and it seemed like such a nice thing to do, he was very happy his last few minutes on earth. We all know how you feel, and I'll pray for strength for you. |
