Since most of the YTCA breeders aren't in the "business" of selling dogs, they are breeding to preserve and improve the breed; you might have to get a little more assertive if you want one of the pups. I recommend calling and getting to know about their breeding program and why they became a breeder. Also, establishing a relationship is invaluable, they can help you decide if a Yorkie is indeed the right type of dog at this point in your life and they also can advise you to the care of your dog. Best of luck.
