I think we will soon be adding a new member to our canine family --- and while he's not a Yorkie (he's a spunky Powder Puff Chinese Crested who is in need of a new home), the information I've found at this site is most helpful!
Currently, we have a chocolate Lab and a.... ummm.... red girl (hound/shepherd/Lab/somethin' else mix), so "grooming" is a simple shampoo and rinse-off. In anticipation of Snoopy's possible arrival, I've been reading and researching about grooming and grooming products. His fur is fine and silky, but wavy (which I love!), with a tendency to mat. I do not want to trim him very much at all, leaving him as au naturel as possible.
After reading about the many different grooming products, I have decided that the product I want to try first (and maybe last, if testimonials here are any indication) is the Yorkie Splash & Shine sampler package. I love that it's organic, helps reduce matting,and is not too perfume-y.
