Hello Nicole and welcome! I am glad to see you are researching breeders and doing your homework prior to purchasing a pup. I didn't do any research when I purchased Jack. Thankfully he is a healthy, happy pup! I am a bit concerned though that you live in NYC but are looking to buy a puppy from SE Texas... I would think you would want to purchase a puppy closer to home so you can go look at the mom and dad and the conditions where the pups are being raised. I am not trying to sway you one way or another as I do not have any experience with SET but I would encourage you to look at breeders closer to your home and by looking at the Yorkshire Terrier Club's website.
