when we got pixie it was to cold outside she would just shiver so i would and still do we take his socks i like to take his good ones they are warmer anyways we take the tube part and cut it off just above the hill and then take and cut to arm wholes in it and it gives you really cute turtle necks and she is almost 3.4 lbs and they still fit really nice i love them and you can get them in different colors and styles and thickness so they work real well and you get two to 12 at a time so they come cheap and no one really tells and if they do then they think its neat so try it it works and if your husband is like mine and your washer is anything like mine then they lose our you washer eat them so you always have extra odd socks good luck with your little guy.
