Arg! Its going to be a long spring/summer... :/

Because of the unusually warm winter, I was already having a horrible time with insects. I live on the outskirts of my town in a heavily wooded area and the past few days the ticks have gotten terrible here! I even found one in my bed this morning! I assume it dropped off one of the dogs, but this is just crazy.

Topping it off, I just had to remove one from behind Gwenni's ear. Frontline has always kept the ticks at bay in years past and we always look the dogs over after coming in from a walk. Apparently, that's not enough this year. I'm just glad we do keep a look out for them. I'm going to have to figure out a way to step up my anti-tick game.

Anyone else having an unusually high amount of critters? Any steps you take to keep them out?
