The vet who gives my Huckie his vaccines gave me a helpful piece of paper for how much aspirin and benedryl a dog can have.
For Benedryl:
1 adult tablet or capsule equals 25mg
1 tsp liquid equals 12.5mg
1tsp = 5cc or 5ml
1-5lb 5mg = 1/2 tsp children's syrup 2-3x's daily as needed
10lbs 10mg = 1 tsp children's syrup or 1/2 adult tablet 2-3x's daily as needed
15lbs 15mg = 1 1/2 tsp or 1/2 adult tablet 2-3x's daily as needed
20-30lbs 25mg = 2tsp children's syrup or 1 adult tablet 2-3x's daily as needed
