It's a county run shelter. They say it is quick and "humane." I don't agree with it and do not support them at all. Since politicians are the ones sending the major part of the dollars to support the place things just don't change. I'm sure it's much less expensive to kill them this way than with an injection. I afraid it is pretty common with most publicly run shelters.
