Quicking a nail happens, but the blood on the paw should have been caught. I always had a table out in the pick up area for the small dogs (or floor for big dogs) and we (client & myself) would go over the pet together so if there was something to be corrected I could go back to my table and fix it. I took that time to tell them if anything like this happened or if I noticed anything different-lumps,tenderness in an area etc. It saved a lot of mixups or misunderstandings. I noticed that my daughter is doing the same thing at her shop now.

Just curious,is it a large shop?
