Well tomorrow we are off for our 2 hour drive each way for our meetup, my friends think I am crazy and thankfully my DH works on Saturday so he does not really know what I am up to
Having just the one (no I do not want any more) I make more of an effort for Lola to have a good time. She loves the meetups and runs around like crazy, her BFF Bella will be there and those two gals play hard, I find it funny that they see each other just once a month but regardless of how many other dogs are there they somehow find each other again and it's like the other dogs hardly exist. Sadly several of the dogs spend the whole meetup on their owner's lap. Lola just about ignores me at the meetups, she gives me a look when we arrive like see ya later Mom and don't dare embarrass me by trying to pick me up
and like the country song Tequila makes her Clothes Come Off, mid way through the party her dress is either hanging off her or missing. I think if she just wanted to spend the meetup on my lap I would not bother going. I will try to get some good pictures.
