We had Gwenni's dewclaws removed when she had her spay as her breeder hadn't removed them properly and they were beginning to cause harm. They really took a long time to heal and she had to wear a soft cone longer than I would have liked. If they aren't causing your babies any trouble I don't know if I would remove them. |
he is 20mths now and I dont think its bothering him, i just found out they were there lastnight due to the fact i didnt know they were suppose to be cut off, so i checked, and there they were.. i will try the ear trimming first and see if that will work before i do any taping. thx
