You say that the eye is only half open..the end is still closed? Can the vet open it up completely, shoudl be a minor thing to do???..I am having a hard time understanding the "hurt" part. I have seen them get a scratch, ulcer on the cornea. I have heard of a dry eye from a tear duct problem..this is new to me...could you post a picture?
