I have 2 dehydrators, both by American Harvest, and they work great! They have a fan on the lid that really speeds up the drying time. Had one before that just had the element on the bottom and took twice the time. Amazon sells different styles.
Don't think watermelon would work because it would disappear when drying. ( I tried celery once and the pieces got very tiny! Not worth it.)
Your can also use ground meat and make little logs for treats, my Tessa loves these. Make them all the time! |
