There are so many sickly Yorkie's made from poor breeding practices that feelings run very high when somebody is considering not neutering dogs that have not been even registered as I recall, haven't been extensively checked and certified healthy in all the areas of concern in the Yorkshire Terrier today and who is willing to breed two dogs together without addressing what about that breeding is expected to improve the breed and produce puppies that won't tend to carry bad genetic problems. It is out of concern for the hapless little puppies and the dam that cause people to grow tense when an OP at times may show disregard for their real concerns or seemingly be set on forging ahead no matter what. It is the lack of concern you see on threads on YT at times on the part of prospective breeders for the time-bombs of genetic pathology the planned puppies could easily have that tends to inflame true dog-lovers who hate to see dogs born to every possibility of disease and suffering if the parents are not properly vetted as to the areas of health that must be cleared before you can safely breed. And partner that passion with a person who may seemingly not be even listening or seems unconcerned at the time and it does get heated. But the health of the puppies to be born as well as that of the dam that drives that passion and not any desire to aggress or hurt. No one who has the very best interest of the puppies they may be bringing into the world should ever mind being informed/reminded about what is in the pups' best interests. But often they do and the stress heats up.
