I am a new member and just started reading the guidelines of the GE and frankly I am surprised they are able to take the time to organize it. It sure seems like a lot of work, they gather the info, make the match, pass out all the info, make sure everyone follows the rules, they make sure the gifts are sent out, follow up if stuff seems to be lost and from what I gather even try to compensate if a gift is not sent, and LOL I am sure I missed a few thing. They also monitor the follow up, they make sure eveyone that gets a gift sends an appropriate thank you. You can get in the GE with just a $25.00 donation which helps the site remain current anyway. So in answer to your question, no donation; no GE. But the good news is if you like the site just donate a few bucks (at least 25) and then make some more posts and you will be able to be part of a GE very soon. I plan on doing my first one in May, so I hope you can join in then |
