Oh, and neur did several tests of their own before even considering disc surgery, which included a spinal tap and she did just fine. Zhoie has surgery on Dec 1st for C1-C2 stablization and she is wonderful now! |
I was going to post about Georgie and saw your post. Georgie has the same surgery as Zhoie and is doing great. The symptoms seem very similar to Dessa's. When they said neurological my mind went all over the place not realizing that it means the signals from his brain were basically not conecting to his legs and paws so he would be thinking his feet were moving but they weren't and he fell over. The neurologist showed us before the surgery how he basically walked on his knuckes like his paws wouldn't flip over to walking normally. I am so glad you are taking her to a neurologist they are amazing doctors for our furbabies. Please keep us posted on sweet Dessa. Sending yorkie kisses her way from Georgie.
