My family totally understand my love for ZoE
My kids were raised with a yorkie, so they are used to yorkie lovin and my parents while not animal/dog people in general, have completely fallen in love with ZoE.
But my friends....
They just don't get it! To hear them talk you'd think I'd become a recluse since I got ZoE!!! When actually, it's just that something has to be really amazing to make me want to spend time away from her.
ZoE is at home alone, during the day, 6 days a week while I'm working, so I want to spend time with her during the late afternoon/evenings and during my one day off. I'm game for going walking with friends any evening (cos ZoE can come along) or going to an outdoor/patio type place for dinner/drinks (cos ZoE can come along), but when they want me to go out for a restaurant dinner/movie type evening....I'm really not interested. I'd rather pick up a pizza & video and spend the evening at home with my pup....and they just don't understand that. Their loss
