My Dad has learned to not say a word to me about my furbabies. My Aunt however still feels the need to say things on occasion. I told her the other day I pity her that she will never have the unconditional of what she refers to as just a dog and told her I like them more than I like most people (mainly her LOL) . After that she didn't say a word. I know it's hard but really who cares what others think even your family. We all know what true love is and it comes in a furry package
