I didn't lecture on page one. I was hoping that you were a dog lover that found two Yorkies that needed love, attention and proper medical care. But I was suspicious that it may be some one just trying to stir up emotional reactions and responses. I will not vent or snap questions out of anger, it is a waste of our time. I gave good sound advice in my first post.
Most of the people who spoke on this thread really did / do want to help. We have read many stories and helped other posters through bad situations. Our advice is founded on solid research, experience and love for the Yorkshire Terrier.
Sorry if we said some things that others did not want to hear.
It is sad that some humans think they have the automatic right to breed their pets on a whim. We try to educate them that breeding is a huge decision. So many things can go wrong. Almost all Yorkies that are sold as pets, should never be bred. It is not like there is a shortage of adoptable Yorkies. A dog's popularity can and has pratcticaly destroyed some breeds. Look at German Shepards, King Charles Spaniel, Boxers, Cocker Spaniel and the serious health and temperment problems they have suffered, because they were bred for quick sale and profit. Thank God Elephants are not as easy to buy and breed as a dog !
