  Our case was a little different.  My Shorkie Zoe was in the back yard playing with our Yorkie Zach.  All if a sudden they both started screaming Zoe's teeth got caught on Zach's collar and she was tossing him around by his neck.  When I finally got the collar cut off and we laid Zach on the table his eyes were rolled back in his head and his tongue was blue and hanging out of his mouth.  I was sure he was dead.  I picked him up and turned him over and he started coming around. We took him to the emergency vet.  By the time we got there he had fully come around.  They took xrays and a radiograph and told us that he had no permanant damage but to watch out for CT in the future.  When I think of what could have happened if we weren't in the back with the dogs I  |
