Update:
The owner called me right now. We had a nice long chat. He seemed much more understanding today than he did on Sunday. Maybe he had a rough day and my complain was just icing on the cake? He heard me out today, and really it was a pleasant conversation. I really have to say kudos to him for putting in the extra effort and giving the customer that one on one time. I really truly appreciated that.

I did not get my refund like I wanted but we compromised and he gave me store credit for the amount I spent on Kaji's horrible cut. I'm completely satisfied with that. They're the only store that carries Orijen near me and Kaji's gotta eat. I had to wait for it a bit, but the owner of K9 Loft really put in the effort to try to make me happy.

Next time I pick up scissors and try to trim Kaji myself, I'll remember this and tell myself to just wait for Reyna (my mobile groomer).

Edited to add, Kaji's ears are worse today. He has one small open sore on his ear. The hair plucking they did caused really irritated ears and he's been scratching which makes things worse. Thank goodness I have my Kiss-e-collar from Bo!
