GO FOR IT!!!
I graduated from college at age 22, then I went back at age 28 and then again at age 38. Each time was exciting and an adventure! Now, I teach on the University level and we have older students all the time. It is never too late to go back and you will never regret it!
My daughter has her teaching degree and it is so great to have the same vacation schedule as your kids. Of course, teachers don't make a ton of money, but it is very rewarding work and when you calculate your salary for approximately 9 months - over what you would make if you worked 12 months, it's not bad at all! You can choose to work at an entirely different type of job over the summer - or you can take summers of to be with your kids. It's great!
