Lisa said this very well. I too tend to try to cap it myself. However, that is easier said then done. So I think a cap would be a good idea too. I found myself thinking oh my SB needs this! Lol.
I only participated in two so far but they are so much fun. As far as you all not wanting to join, we all are aware of the $40 limit and if you get a $40 box so what? It is the fun and love that goes with the GE that really matters. Not what was spent on the box. Please please please don't let that stop you from joining! We have so fun just trying to figure out who our SB is! And let's just say they kept me on my toes last time!!!!
But it was something I will forever remember because of the thought and caring and love that was put into it. Amanda (Maddieadoptedme) was an amazing SB!!
With that said, I don't think anyone should not participate for fear of the need to spend more than they should. If you can make the $40 limit than come on and join!!!! It saddens me to think you held out because of this. You are missing TONS of fun!!!!
I think this is a suggestion that needs to be brought up again to Admin. A possible limit on the spending. I think it was mentioned at one time.
