I think its wrong for them to tell you that you have to microchip your dog I think it should be a personal choice. I am not thrilled about micro chips either (yes I know there are been some the reunited dogs with owners) one because there are a few different types so if your dog has one type but the person who is checking him with a scanner for another type it wont work and at one point they where talking the chips possibly causing cancer.
