It is raised and red with a dark spot inside it. It doesnt seem hard at all. I would say soft and I cant tell if its filled with anything but doesnt feel like there is a liquid in it. She had her surgery early January. Any advice on what it might be??? The vet recommended putting neosporin on it for a couple days and if that doesnt help bring her in on Friday. I had her harness on her this week for the first time since surgery, but I put it on tonight when I noticed the lump to see if it rubs there and I really dont think it rubs that area. Has any one ever experienced an infection this far after surgery or maybe a possible hernia from the surgery?
Thanks any advice is much appreciated.
My Labrador had a INCISIONAL HERNIA, it was quite noticable. I would take your pup in for a quick look and see just to make you feel better. It could just be the healing, friction or anything. Better to have it re-checked. Good luck
