as many of you know, My Prada had a Paw infection this past weekend, we still dealing with it, I took her to the regular vet and she is on clavamox for 10 days, well,today I also called Dr. Magda my holistic vet and explained to her what happen, and I told her that I been using mushers secret to protect their paws, she told me that that is ok, but they also need a deeper moisturizer in the winter when the heat is on and in the summer, she told me that for the winter months she suggest using coconut oil, massage the paws with it at least 3 times a week, all dogs and breeds benefit from that and can use the antifungal benefits of the coconut oil, and for the harsh hot summer, she recomends a product called BAG Balm, it helps keep the paws in tip top shape. I just ordered the bag balm and I started last night with the coconut oil.
