In Peanut's case, he may have even heard a change in the breathing sounds your DH was making...they can hear outside the range we can hear. It may have been nothing but a teensy congestion that your DH cleared by coughing, but at least now you know that Peanut is 'on the job'

I love hearing stories like that, I really do. It is so amazing! Knowing how special animals are, I am shocked to see these people beat them and treat them so horrible! I wish people would just give them a chance! The love of an animal of any breed is so special!!
That is true, it could have been something that small. It does seem after DH coughed and got up Peanut wanted to go back in his crate LOL. Who knows, I am thankful enough to know “ Peanut is on the job”!!
