one of the best things someone let me know was to cut the umbilical cord and not let the dog chew it off. They can chew it to close and can cause problems. So I always clipped them and made sure Lexi left them alone. And I always let her eat one after birth. She always threw it up but vet said one and take the rest away.. But everyone does that different worked well for me... Also she will need food in front of her once pups are here.. I also had special food I got from the vet to give her while whelping just a little. She needed it between pups. She had large litters. 7 all three times I think you are getting close.
