Thanks everyone for your input/stories, etc. I don't think I will get him vaccinated. My vet is really good about staggering his shots due to his size and never does too many at one time and again, she said the Lepto was entirely my choice. We just keep a close eye on him when we are near puddles of water and make sure he doesn't drink any. If it does become epidemic in our area (as it seems to be with my Michigan neighbors) then I will probably have him vaccinated, but for now, I'm not going to get it.
