UPDATE: Cali is doing well. She is settling in to her old routine. She has lost a bit of her spunk and her bark is slightly weak (could be from having the endo tube when they did the muscle biopsy). Regardless, she is so happy to be home. We are giving her so much love and attention that I almost feel guilty. She just gives us the most beautiful looks as if she is trying to tell us something. It's like, "Mom, read my mind please". So I offer water, a trip outside to potty, or a massage. I'll try to catch a pic of one of her "looks" and post it for ya'll.
On a different topic....Allison (the first vet student that had Cali) called me tonight to check on her. It was so great to hear from her and know that she really cared. Not to mention Cali's regular vet has been in consistent contact with us. I wish I could have a vet for my doctor.....LOL!
Thanks to all that have mentioned the potty pad systems as my husband & I are trying to decide what type to get at this time. I'll let everyone know and keep you posted as to how it works!
