I guess I'm kind of amazed that a vet would be breeding a dog that small. It just is so risky and could have grave consequences for the mother and it certainly is not doing any favors for the puppies.
I hope you can get you puppy's weight up. Hopefully they gave you some suggestions about increasing her calorie intake. The slow growers usually grow a little longer than the average so she may not reach her mature weight until a few months after her first birthday. |
