The books are great! You should read them before you see the movie. I have a feeling the books will be better than the movie, but it will still be fun to see it.
I'm a Mac user as well... I have a MacBook Pro and an Iphone. I'm jealous of you iPad users, but I don't really need one because I already have the portability of a laptop and phone. I love Apple products
