For general care I go to a veterinarian group of three doctors. I like two of them. Generally they give very good care but I have to ask them not to set me up with the "other" one. It's a shame because otherwise it would be a great practice.

For emergencies and care that is more involved than general care we have Cornell University Animal Hospital

They are up on all the latest and are excellent for emergency and specialist services. Just hope you never have to deal with them unless you have pet insurance and even with that it is still going to hit you hard in the pocketbook. Of course all the vets for a 100 mile radius rely on Cornell to take up their slack but many people just do not have the sort of income that it takes to enjoy that type of technology. It's sad because people of all income levels love their pets.
