I have always found that a scrambled egg (with no milk) has always helped to jump start an appetite. I mix most of it in their kibble, then hand feed them a couple of bites of egg and then show them the bowl with egg/kibble. I will sometimes crack the kibble, too, so that it's smaller pieces and easier for them to eat. The other thing that nearly never fails me is, I put them and the bowl on the counter for them to eat from. Whenever I have one that is getting a special diet for a little while, I feed them on the counter so that the others can't get to the food. This has developed a firm thought in all their heads that only "special" food is served this way. Whenever they see me fix something and take the bowl to "the special place" and put a towel down, they all get freaking excited to see who's going to be the lucky pup.
