well just got off phone with vets office, they said that its normal to have some worms after a deworming and that that means they are jumping ship so to speak and dying off even. They went on to tell me that the heart worm medication he was started on this week also helps with other worms too, so he is being treated from all angles right now to get rid of these pesky worms. When I inquired about the negative fecal she said it can be tricky because the fecal they do checks for worm eggs, and if they are not shedding any or reproducing when they check they wont show up, which is why they deworm all puppies until they are 16 weeks every 3 weeks, then less frequently.
