It is good to begin training on day one. Teach your Yorkies that being touched is a good thing. If you want them to have full coats, it is good to start grooming them daily. Learn how to groom them correctly and what tools work best. There are many traing ideas, health facts and stories in the Yorkie Talk library. I also encourage you to read at least a few books about training a puppy.
I suggest : Dog Perfect by Sarah Hodgson, 1000 Best Dog Training Secrets by Robyn Achey and Bill Gorton and Dog Dilemmas by Gary R. Sampson DVM with Dick Wolfsie.
