I agree that food grade diatomaceous earth may be helpful to control some pests. My concern is that it takes 72 hours to effect the pests after contact with the product. I think it would be a great treatment for someone's yard and even inside a house that has a flea problem if you had enough of it but I don't think it would help much in my cat situation since they go out into the woods and nearby fields to pick up the nasty critters.
