My new Yorkie is 11 months old.

1. I hear people talking about color party colored yorkies etc. Until I read those posts, not just here but other places, I thought my dog was Yorkie colored, not Party so correct me if I am wrong. Are Yorkies supposed to be only 2 colors because .. Soup is primarily white on the top of the head, sort of blonde or more yellow on the face and below her ears, silver over her back with streaks of black. Is that Party colored? Have a friend who raised poodles and she always said that Parti-Poos were not a good thing.

2. I prefer for Soup to use puddle pads rather than go outside - I have had her less than 48 hours and she was not going outside or inside and finally she did go pee-pee outside and to hear me carry on and praise her you would think she discovered the cure for cancer .. I have pee pads everywhere and a few minutes later she pooped in the middle of the kitchen on the tile. That's ok. She watched me flush it and I told her "yuck." Do most of you use puddle pads? I want to try and keep her flea free - I am in Florida.

3. My last question is this. Are Yorkies swimmers? We have a pool and I was wondering if I was outside would she jump in the water? Should I keep a float on her ?? Or do they not like the water ..
