No, but gorgeous photo. I simply love old pictures, particularly daguerreotypes. They and the people in them are fascinating to me. Hope your grandpa finds out who the man is and you will let us know if he does. What are the markings/credits on the picture back/front? Just knowing what photographer and the city/town he was in might give you a start in the I.D. department. (What did I do to make these last lines larger? I do this occasionally posting and never know what I did?)
