My girl has never been so attached to me as she is when my baby niece visits. My niece is about 9 months old and is one of those who demands to be held a lot. She isn't here that often so Maggie is familiar with her, but not used to her.

Maggie is GLUED to me today. If I have that baby then Mags is within 2 feet of me. Much of the time when I held the baby Maggie was lying against my thigh with her head on it. Don't know if she is jealous or protective but she does like the baby. She has been gentle and given some kisses. No signs of aggression.

The baby is a bit of a pain to babysit because she had bad separation anxiety, but I do get lots of loving from her and maggie at the same time.
