I LOVE the raw dehydrated food option! We used to feed Xavier Nature's Variety raw medallions, and after going vegetarian I just couldn't stomach them anymore. It wasn't an issue until hubby deployed...then I knew we had to find a different option! (Sounds horrible and selfish, I know. But I literally almost vomitted anytime I handled the medallions.)

Anyway, I was ecstatic when our local pet food store starting carrying K9 Natural! Xavier actually put on a little weight with it after a few weeks, and was healthier then ever. Unfortunately, the store ran out of the lamb version so we had to find an alternative. (Poultry is a HUGE no-no for X and we try to avoid beef usually.) We now use Addiction's raw dehydrated food (and have excellent results with it) and LOVE all the poultry-free varieties they offer. Right now he's eating the "New Zealand Forest Delicacies" which consists of air-dried wild Brushtail, Vension, and Manukau honey among other things.

If K9 Natural for some reason stops working for y'all, I strongly reccomend Addiction! :-)
