I don't know how people ignore the crying...they must be made of much stronger stuff than me.
I was up every 20-30 minutes with ZoE the first two nights I brought her home. I'd get her to fall asleep in a blanket in my arms & then I'd lay her down and go to bed myself and within minutes she'd be crying again. I'd try to ignore it, but just couldn't, so I'd be up again.
By the third night I was absolutely exhausted, so I layed down on my bed with her and we both slept. She's been there every night since.
