I bought my Pet Corrector on Amazon after reading the reviews. It seemed harmless and Dori was experiencing hysterical barking whenever "Daddy" came home from work.
It startled her into quiet the first time I used it. She didn't know where the sound was coming from, but I doubt she thought it was a snake (too smart for that). I reinforced with "good quiet" and a treat.
