TRUE!! I do not get it and if I EVER had to, like I tell ALL my parents, Have a shot of Benadryl 15 minutes prior to the shot, and then hang around the vet office for at least 20 - 30 minutes after the shot. That is the ONLY way I would ever let my babies get that shot, and ONLY IF IT BECOMES EPIDEMIC IN MY AREA! Risk outweighs the probability of getting the disease for my babies....and like Ellie May said, "Reaction rates are still common, vaccine doesnt cover all strains, duration of immunity is questionable" (like maybe only 6 months).
