 Bad Situation
My shih tzu died a few weeks ago and I was so heartbroken and lost without a little one running around that I decided to get a Yorkie. After talking my husband into it I found a lady who was selling a breeding pair.
(excuse my stupidity - I think I was too excited to ask the right questions)
The girl is 3 years old and the boy 4 years old. She told me she had to get rid of them due to her living conditions and that they were both peepad and kennel trained and that the mom is pregnant. I met her to buy the dogs and they are worse for wear! Very dirty, long nails, bad breathe etc - not well looked after. So I took them.
Getting home I soon discover they are not trained and the boy is peeing all over my house and spraying everywhere. And they bark all night long in the kennel. I googled this ladies phone number and found out she was selling yorkie puppies in February of this year - so needless to say - I am pretty sure she is not pregnant but just had puppies.
I tried phoning the lady but of course she is not answering. I'm not sure what I should do - pretty sure I got screwed. Asked for registration info and she said she didn't have the paperwork - but I could send in blood samples to get them CKC and AKC registered... now I find out that is not true either!
