Default Scariest thing ever!

I haven't posted here in forever but wanted to share a scare with you all.

On Jan 3rd my baby girl was vomiting and just wanted to lay on or close to me. Jan 4th she stopped vomiting but still was not acting like herself. I took her to the vet and he did an xray and put her on an antibiotic hopping maybe just a minor infection since nothing had shown up on the xray. The 5th I thought maybe she was doing a bit better, then on the 6th I got up and she wouldn't hardly move. She just wanted me to hold her. I had her in my arms and she looked up at me and I knew she was dying in my arms. I called the vet and told him he had to see her now. Rushed her in and he agreed. He did a few test and another xray. This time the xray shown she had eaten something. I was at a loss as to what it could be. We are so cautious. The vet asked if she could have gotten a hold of a tampon in the last few days. Relieved I was like no way. He then told me he would have to do surgery right away. I gave her lots of kisses and off she went.

Eighty three minutes later (I didn't leave) he came to get me and said she HAD eaten a tampon. I was like no way, I couldn't image where she would have gotten it. I knew it wasn't mine or either of my daughters. (I'll spare the details of our cycles) So sick to my stomach I go home for a bit and I'm talking to a friend and she is like OMGosh, it could have been mine. I opened one realized I didn't need it and tossed it in the trash. Sad, upset, and worried I was relieved to know where it came from.

I do not blame my friend and I'm not angry with her, but I am very cautious now when someone walks out of one of the bathrooms here.

My Tori the day before surgery!
