Remember Karo syrup and Nutri-cal are basically the same thing, sugar. You don't want to be giving her too much sugar, it should only be given when you suspect she’s having an attack of low blood sugar, which causes loss of appetite. If you give too much sugar, she’s not going to have much of appetite for regular food. Also, too much sugar can cause an attack of hypoglycemia because sugar produces insulin which lowers blood sugar. Many yorkie breeders suggest that food be avail 24/7, this allows the puppy to eat small amounts whenever he’s hungry and this will prevent hypoglycemia, once your dog reaches 4 pounds, this is no longer as important.

I'm am concerned with what you describe, hope you get a vet check soon.
